Ingredients that are produced locally and freshly prepared on site – that's the credo of our cuisine. We use varied, seasonal produce to create delicious, balanced menus every day. Perhaps you'd like an example?

The Tannenbar is where you'll find the best coffee; the Clausiusbar is the place for authentic Asian cuisine. The Polyterrasse offers a wide variety of the latest dishes, every day. And for those who appreciate Italian food, we recommend the Polysnack restaurant. There are creative concoctions, fresh from the preserving jar in the Alumni Lounge. Your after-work beer and light snack taste best at bQm, the student bar.

Sustainable and delicious

We want to manage our environment and resources in a sustainable way. And that means keeping a close eye on what's on our plate. 80 percent of our food is Swiss produce; over a half is from local or regional suppliers. When it comes to fish and shellfish, we follow WWF guidelines. We commit to sustainability through our purchase of fair trade products. 

Climate protection, fair trade, animal welfare: these are all key issues for us. Sustainable nutrition lies close to our heart – and that's a promise!

SV Restaurant is part of the SV Schweiz group, a Swiss catering firm with a tradition dating back over a century. We welcome over 100,000 guests to our 300 restaurants and canteens, every day. Our staff numbers some 5000 enthusiastic hosts – sincere, responsible, competent and full of initiative – who love to offer hospitality. And they do so with conviction!
