Get to know ESA BIC Switzerland

ESA BIC Switzerland is a start-up support program of the European Space Agency (ESA), operated by ETH Zurich. It supports Swiss start-ups that use space technologies: either technologies from space that are adapted for use on Earth or solutions from Earth that can be adapted for use in space.

The reference to space applies to a wide range of applications such as navigation and positioning, communication technologies, earth observation, materials, processes, signals or robotics.

The start-ups included in the program will receive up to 200,000 EUR (non-dilutive funding), together with up to 80 hours of technical and business support from companies in the ESA BIC CH partner network and from research organizations as well as access to the ESA network. There are two application and selection rounds per year. Start-ups must be registered in Switzerland and be less than 5 years old.
