Welcome, dear readers!
How do we affect the climate? How can we meet our energy needs in the future? How do we make our cities as environmentally friendly as possible? And how can we feed the world sustainably?
Researchers and experts at ETH and other institutions examine these issues and many more in ETH Zurich’s “Zukunftsblog”, with facts and views on sustainability.
The blog features two weekly blog posts, one of which will cover the topic of World food system over the next three months. The second blog post will cover one of four other themes each week: Climate change, Energy, Cities of the future and Natural resources. Our expert team of writers will be supported by a new set of specialists and researchers. We will keep you up to date on Twitter (external page @ETHZukunftsblog) and in the weekly newsletter.
The “Zukunftsblog” also features posts in English, giving English-speaking members of the ETH community the opportunity to contribute to the blog. Therefore, English posts will appear on the German blog page and vice versa.
The new blog will be inaugurated by ETH author and environmental systems scientist Anthony Patt, with his thoughts on the much discussed concept of sustainability – it will be published here on Thursday, 31 October.
Is there a topic in the field of sustainability that you would like us to cover in a blog post in the future? Then write to us at . We look forward to hearing from you.
