"didactica" – One programme, two institutions
The “didactica” programme is intended for all staff and teaching faculty at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. It fosters the development of comprehensive teaching proficiency at all stages and levels of the academic career by covering important topics in higher education. The variety of topics is based on a model of thematic fields in higher education.
“didactica” courses are free of charge for staff and teaching faculty at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. Members of other accredited Swiss higher education institutions pay a fee of CHF 200.00 per half day.
See the current programme at www.didactica.ethz.ch.
The programme is updated every semester and is published in May and November.
“didactica” attendance policy
Registration is binding and participation in the entire course (meaning a minimum of 80% attendance) is required. Cancellations are accepted up to 10 days before the course begins. Cancellation after this date, unexcused/unexplained no-shows and incomplete participation (< 80% of the course) result in suspension from all courses of the "didactica" programme for a period of one year. Unforeseeable and unavoidable absences are excused if grounds are submitted in writing, with documentation, to the "didactica" administration.
