Launching on Nov. 28, 2012, the Biodiversity Informatics Toolbox is a website presenting resources for self-directed learning at www.biodiversity-informatics.org. It is developed for the Swiss Plant Science Web (SPSW) in collaboration with the Zurich-Basel Plant Science Center (PSC) for a wide range of potential users of biodiversity data such as lecturers and students, researchers in or-ganismic biology, curators of natural history collections and also amateur naturalists including citizen scientists..
