On 13 November, ETH Global will host a lecture by Prof. Gili S. Drori from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem talking about "Globalization and the university: on visibility, excellence and other dilemmas". The lecture will take place in room LEE E101 at 12:15.

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) will present its philosophy and organisation and showcase selected projects at ETH Zurich on 20 October 2014, 14:00 -17:00. The half-day conference is entitled Next Einstein Initiative and Rural Prenatal Care in Ghana.

The Swiss-Korean Science Days are a series of annual conferences to foster the relations between Korea and Switzerland in science and technology. The 5th edition of the Science Days will bring together Swiss and Korean brain researchers in Seoul from 6-9 October 2014.
