Curriculum vitae
Julia Ramseier is passionate about the power of communication to connect, inspire, and drive change. With 15 years of experience across the public sector, NGOs, and academia, she has helped people, brands, and institutions engage meaningfully with their audiences. She began her career in the Foreign Service at the Department of External Affairs in Berlin before joining the external page World Health Organization, where she spent over eight years as a Communication Advisor, including a tenure in Brazzaville, Congo. Later, she served as editor-in-chief of the VSETH student association at ETH Zurich and led a corporate identity relaunch for the Old Town churches as a project manager for the City of Zurich. Later she also worked as an International Exchange Coordinator for the University of Zurich. Since April 2024, Julia has been part of ETH Sustainability as a Communication Manager, merging her communication expertise with a commitment to sustainability. Beyond her professional life, she is passionately engaged in the arts, particularly music. A musician herself, she has been a freelance writer for the NZZ on cultural topics and supports project development in the music sector. In 2025, Julia is joining external page Camerata Zurich as a board member.
Julia’s educational background includes a B.A. in Communications from the University of Münster, an M.Sc. in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a diploma in Digital Marketing Analytics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
