Step 5 - First few weeks on campus

In your first few weeks on campus, your department and institute will be introducing you to new colleagues and staff members who will help you with your transition, and making sure you are familiar with ETH facilities. If you have already worked at ETH, but perhaps not as a professor, there may still be some information that is new to you (e.g. meeting dates or abbreviations that you may not have known during your previous role). Department- or institute-specific terms and procedures will be explained to you by your new colleagues. Do not hesitate to ask questions concerning your new role.

If you have any questions pertaining to your own employment (e.g. you need a work certificate or other document to get settled into Zurich), please contact the Office for Faculty Affairs. We will be happy to help you further with matters related directly to professors.
