Step 6 - Your first two semesters

In the first week after you have been appointed, you will receive your ETH network ID and other basic information that will help you get started with your transition. Depending on the length of time between your appointment and your official starting date, you may need to address some of the items more quickly (e.g. housing, childcare). The Consulting for Professors unit will continue to help during this phase and will notify you if certain items (e.g. visas documents, work permits) need immediate attention.
