Urgently wanted: Helpers for the Cybathlon

For this major event, 20 volunteers are urgently needed for today and tomorrow to help prepare the race courses for the competitions.

Wettkampfteam am Cybathlon

Due to unforeseen staff shortages, the Cybathlon team is looking for 20 additional helpers for three shifts at short notice:

  • Today, Friday, 25 October 2024, from 5.00 p.m. to 10.15 p.m.
  • Tomorrow, Saturday, 26 October 2024, from 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
  • Tomorrow, Saturday, 26 October 2024, from 5.00 p.m. to 10.15 p.m.

Tasks of the helpers

They support the preparation of the race courses for the competitions and adjust the set-ups when changing disciplines. The work involves sponsoring objects and obstacles. But don't worry - heavy objects are transported by other people. There are breaks between assignments where you can watch the competition from the stands. This is a great opportunity to get up close to the action and experience the event at close quarters!

How you can help

Are you interested in supporting the Cybathlon team, or do you know someone (even non ETH members are welcome!) who would like to take on a shift? Then send an e-mail to with your name and information about which shift you would like to take on. Accreditation will take place on site, online registration is not necessary.

At the Cybathlon in the SWISS Arena in Kloten and in hubs around the world, 76 teams from 26 countries compete in eight different disciplines. It is the largest international competition in which people with disabilities master everyday tasks with the help of newly developed assistance technologies. Further information on the Cybathlon
