Recognition of credits attained

Your department (Study Administration) will determine which credits can be recognised. Contact them as soon as possible after your stay and submit any required documents (transcript or similar).

Final documents

In general

  • You will receive the templates for the required final documents and instructions by email.
  • If you fail to submit all required documents in full, any scholarship funds already paid must be refunded.

SEMP Europe & worldwide

You must submit your Certificate of Attendance.

  • This certificate will be sent to you by email and must be signed by your host organisation before being uploaded to Mobility-Online before your departure.
  • If your stay dates change slightly, this must be documented in the Certificate of Attendance at the end of your mobility period.
  • If your stay is extended by more than 14 days, you must apply for an extension. Extensions are only possible if the additional period is relevant for credit recognition in your degree programme and funding is available.

IDEA League Student Grant

You must submit two documents:

  • Testimonial: You will receive the template by email, which you must complete and upload to Mobility-Online. The report will then be published on the IDEA League website.
  • Study report: You must submit the report to the International Knowledge Base no later than one month after the end of your stay.

Scholarship

Once you have uploaded the final documents, the Student Exchange Office will review them. If everything is in order, they will arrange for the remaining amount of your scholarship to be paid out.

Participation in events

You can use your personal experience to help students decide on a stay abroad or prepare for their time abroad. To support this, you will be invited by email to two events:

  • Infomarkt (students considering an exchange)
  • Get ready to go! (students preparing for their departure)

By accepting the Student Exchange Office scholarship, you have committed to participating in both events.

Erasmus Student Network (ESN)

The ESN organises events and provides services for mobility students, offering a great opportunity to support them and stay connected.
