Welcome to ETH Zurich!
Invest a few minutes to go through the following links. This will make your start at ETH and in Switzerland much easier.
- You will receive your student card at the opening event.
- In Swiss German, your student card is called "legi". When somebody asks for your "legi", they want to see your student card (e.g. at the ETH library, etc.).
- With your student card, you have access to the ASVZ sport offers. (ASVZ stands for "Akademischer Sportverband Zürich" which translates to "academic sports association Zurich".)
- Your student card is valid beyond the end of the semester. Nevertheless, you only have student status at ETH for the duration you find in Mobility-Online (regardless of the validity date on your card).
