Make course materials accessible for all

We are working on making course materials accessible for all learners, using multimodal capabilities of Large Language Models. This is an ongoing project in collaboration with instructors and the team from e-accessiblity.
As an example, the image below shows annotated lecture slides, which would not be accessible to blind learners.

Using multimodal AI, the slide can be transcribed for screenreader accessibility, including the handwritten annotations.
