At the heart of the Cybathlon: the new “life” is out
The Cybathlon on 8 October is a major event. A huge amount of preparation is needed to ensure everything goes smoothly. “life” introduces the organisers and their helpers.
More than 70 teams from 25 countries will go head to head at the Swiss Arena in Kloten on 8 October. People with physical disabilities will compete in six challenging disciplines, supported by the latest technological assistance systems. Such a major event requires significant preparation: Roland Sigrist, Dario Wyss and Nicole Kasielke have been working hard to organise the upcoming competition for months. “life” introduces the organisers and their helpers.
This issue also includes an interview with Marcel Zurbuchen. As the Partner Organisations Coordinator, he is primarily responsible for catering and retail services at ETH Zurich.
