New ETH Research Data Management Website now online
Data management has become an important aspect of scientific research. For this reason, funding organizations like the Swiss National Science Foundation or Horizon 2020 have started to mandate data management plans for projects they fund.
A new website (www.ethz.ch/researchdata) has been launched to provide a central source of information and a point-of-contact for data management related topics. The website has been created by the Digital Curation group at the ETH Library and by ETH Scientific IT Services and provides information on data management planning, active data management as well as publication and long-term preservation of research data. Additionally, a dedicated section informs about related training and support activities offered at ETH Zurich.
