The Swiss Federal Polytechnic, as ETH was called in its early years, has always acknowledged the crucial role of agricultural sciences. The university saw itself as the thought engine behind an emerging Swiss industry, and a vital research hub for the national agricultural and forestry sector.
What’s cooking in the world of research?
ETH Zurich’s new app tour carefully traces this story, investigating the roots of agricultural sciences at the university and at the same time offering a close-up look at cutting-edge research. The tour kicks off in the main building and guides you to key sites in the surrounding buildings; you can even watch our researchers at work. Each step brings you nearer to the latest questions and solutions.
