The aim of the "Humanitarian Action Challenges" is to support project-based research for greater impact of humanitarian aid. The fifth call for proposals is aimed at teams consisting of researchers from ETH Zurich or EPFL and employees of a humanitarian organisation. Cooperation with other partners from the ETH Domain or other humanitarian organisations is welcome.
Projects with a duration of 6-24 months can be subsidised with between CHF 50,000 and CHF 300,000. A minimum of 25 % as counter-financing is required. Applications can be submitted until Thursday, 16 January 2025. Further information.
