Isabelle Castagna

Curriculum Vitae

Isabelle Castagna has been working at ETH Sustainability since May 2018, managing projects and processes in the areas of sustainable catering, sustainable events and the reduction of Scope 3 emissions.

She holds a Master's degree in geography, with a focus on forestry and biogeography and has experience in the field of sustainability from various industries. She worked on the renaturation of diamond mines of Namdeb Diamond Corp in Namibia, advised on risk management solutions for global insurance portfolios on natural disaster risks and evaluated sustainability indicators for food and non-food labels at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIBL). She also managed environmental and energy projects at BLS and, as Head of Corporate Responsibility at Zurich Insurance Switzerland, she promoted corporate responsibility, in particular sustainable mobility management.
