Facility Management department organises Waste Disposal Week

The Executive Board of ETH Zurich has expressed a desire to see an intensive waste disposal campaign. Although the Facility Management department’s waste disposal concept offers many advantages, there is also a need to improve the space situation at ETH Zurich – more specifically, to free up space by clearing out and getting rid of waste. ‘Volcanoes and climate’ lecture series
The special exhibition on ‘Tambora and the year without summer’ will welcome 15 national and international researchers to present their latest results in a public lecture series. Lectures will be held in focusTerra every Thursday evening at 6 p.m. from 8 September to 15 December 2016.

One idea, three minutes: that’s the challenge at the Falling Walls Lab ideas competition. The third Swiss qualifier will take place in September at ETH Zurich, with the winner earning a trip to the international final in Berlin.
