For this year¡¯s International Archives Week (7 to 11 June 2022), the archives of ETH Zurich are opening their doors to the public. It is an opportunity to learn about their work and their offers and get involved.

Gerhard Tr?ster, a retired professor of electronics, served as an ombudsperson at ETH for the past four years. His term of office came to an end in March. In this interview we learned about his reflections on his time in office, what memories will stick with him and where he sees room for improvement.

No evidence of dereliction of duty or wilful misconduct; potential for improvement in existing rules. This is the conclusion of the independent report commissioned by the ETH Board concerning the preliminary evaluations of suspected scientific misconduct at ETH Zurich.

For the second time, AVETH is presenting the Diversity Award. It will honor an ETH scientific staff member who has contributed significantly to the advocation for diversity and inclusion at ETH Zurich. ETH members can now submit their nominees.

On 21 June 2022, ETH Zurich will host a high-level panel discussion on peace mediation. International experts will discuss how increasing geopolitical tensions and new technologies affect the mediation of conflicts. The event will be opened by State Secretary Livia Leu.

Anyone at ETH who wants to get from one place to another quickly can hire an e-bike from one of four convenient ETH Zurich locations.

This fascinating exhibition portrays the meetings between Max Frisch and Helmut Schmidt, and is open to the public from 8 June to 2 September 2022 in the Max Frisch Archive at the ETH main building.
