Sarah Springman has not only spent 25 years at ETH Zurich as Professor of Geotechnical Engineering, but also seven years as the university’s Rector. Before she gives her lecture, various figures who have been significant to her during her time at ETH Zurich will express their appreciation.
Public event – registration requested
As with all farewell lectures, this event is open to the public and will be held in the Audimax. It will last two hours, starting promptly at 5 p.m. As the Audimax will probably not be able to accommodate all those wanting to attend, the lecture will also be screened in lecture halls E3 and E5.
At the end of the event, light refreshments will be served to all guests. In order to ensure that sufficient drinks and snacks are provided while avoiding food waste, the organisers request that participants register in advance.
